This cozy Goan house offers you the serenity of authentic village life in Goa along with the amenities to ensure you can enjoy an easy holiday. We are a Goan couple that restored this house while capturing the essence of Goan style architecture. By adding our own personal style to it, we have created a unique haven away from the usual hustle and bustle of regular tourism.
This 08 bedroom house, each with its own attached bathroom/ toilet, LED TV’s and a small refrigerator, table and a chair in every room, can accommodate 20 to 24 people.
There is a quaint garden outside with two sets of verandas and a garden bench. You can choose your own lounge area to read, enjoy your morning cups of tea or coffee, laze with your favourite drink in the evening or just soak up the sun and the village around you.
Wake up to the sound of birds in the garden. Entertain yourself with amazing walks in the village which take you to fields on either side of the roads with little sluice gates that are used by the villagers.
There are shops that caters to most of your everyday requirements and, if you want an evening snack, walk for a minute and find a local stalls selling mouth-watering Goan snacks. For authentic Goan food, especially the Goan fish thali, eat at the local restaurant which is very close to Casa de Alnena.
There is an additional little cottage with a housekeeper and a watchman behind the main house. They can take care of the garden and clean the house if you wish to so engage them.
Casa de Alnena is a mere minutes’ drive to the Margao Market and all the South Goa’s famous beaches like Colva Beach, Sernabatim Beach, Benaulim Beach, Betalbatim Beach, Majorda Beach, Utorda Beach, Varca Beach and other beaches and their famous night markets, and also to some of the best restaurants and nightspots if you wish for a dose of late night restaurants and clubs. It’s about a 30 minute drive to or from the main airport in Goa, Dabolim Airport.
Spa treatments, like massages and manicures can be arranged at home if required for additional charges. We also have yoga at an additional charges.
